Understanding when a container is moving to an off-dock facility has traditionally been a blind spot for importers in Long Beach and Oakland.
Now with OpenTrack, the confusion of where and when to pick up the container has been eliminated.
OpenTrack has added the following milestones to the reporting available in the API as well as in the online portal:
FULL INGATED TO OFF-DOCK FACILITY
AVAILABLE AT OFF-DOCK FACILITY
FULL OUTGATED FROM OFF-DOCK FACILITY
💡 For relevant containers, these new milestones now appear instead of the traditional AVAILABLE and FULL OUTGATED milestones.
This is limited to the following Shipper’s Transport Express locations:
Long Beach (Alameda)
Long Beach (Carson)
Oakland
In the future, we'll be adding support for off-dock facilities across more providers and locations.
