OpenTrack supports tracking ICL shipments, but this steamship line works differently than any of the others. Here's how to track ICL shipments successfully in OpenTrack.

How ICL tracking works

ICL provides tracking data exclusively via EDI. So in order to get the data, you'll need to reach out to ICL and tell them to send tracking data to OpenTrack using our existing EDI connection.

Then once data is flowing from ICL, the containers will appear in your account automatically.

Step 1: Let us know you want to track with ICL

First step is to ask your customer success manager for specific instructions on who to reach out to at ICL to tell them to send us tracking data on your shipments.

Step 2: Reach out to ICL

Using the instructions and contact we provide, you can reach out to ICL to authorize them to send us your data.

Step 3: Shipments start appearing in OpenTrack

Then there's nothing more for you to do. Once the data starts flowing, your ICL containers will begin appearing in your account.

What if I don't book ICL directly?

If your customer or trading partner is the one booking with ICL, you'll need them to authorize ICL to send data to us.

That's it! Don't hesitate to ask any questions remaining via Intercom or at support@opentrack.co.
