OpenTrack notifies you when the ETA changes on any of your shipments. You can opt to receive the default version of this report by activating the Daily Digest notification under your Settings.

But what if you want to change the columns that display in that email?

What if you want to automatically send this email to your customer, with your branding on it?

That's all possible with OpenTrack. Here's how.

Customizing the ETA Changes alert

You can build your custom ETA Changes alert in Explore.

Start by clicking this link to view the customizable version of the ETA Changes report.

(You'll need to be logged into your OpenTrack account to see this.)

Once you're there, click Save to save this report in your My Reports folder.

From there, you can customize! Change the filters and columns in your report to customize the way it looks.

Just be sure to click Save after you make your edits.

Here are some ideas:

Create a customer-specific report

Filter by Customer or Consignee to make this report display only shipments for a specific customer.

Then save yourself some work: You can trigger automated daily or weekly branded email alerts directly to your customer (see below).

Focus only on shipments you manage

Filter by Owner, PO Number or Sales Order Number to narrow the list down to only the shipments you care about.

Then set up a daily email to yourself to make sure you stay on top of possible delays (see below).

Filter by origin or destination

Filter by Origin, Destination, Port of Discharge, Distribution Center, or even Destination Address to focus on only the shipments on a particular route.

Then save yourself some work: You can trigger automated daily emails directly to your origin or destination counterparts (see below).

Set up automated email alerts

Once you've saved your custom report, set up email alerts by clicking the Email icon.

Here's where you can activate daily, weekly or monthly email alerts to yourself.

You can also add any other email address as recipient. If you have branding set up, outside recipients will see the branded, external-facing version of your report.
