OpenTrack's mission is to solve the fragmented data and workflows of the logistics industry to help shippers and forwarders to keep cargo moving smoothly. As a result, our best in class visibility solution allows OpenTrack to alert you to the most important events affecting your operations.

Ocean Dashboard

The OpenTrack Ocean Dashboard is a feature in the web portal that consolidates critical information on a single page. The page is organized into three sections: the where, the when, and the important information related to each of your containers. This structure allows you to quickly access and understand the status of your shipments.

Ocean Container Map

The Ocean Map uses AIS location data to give you real-time container location. Zoom in to see where your shipments are, and click on any circle to see which containers are in each location.

Vessel Arrival Schedule

The Vessel Arrival Schedule allows you to see when each vessel will be arriving at port, helping you better allocate your resources. You can dive deeper into any vessel to see the containers expected to arrive on specific days. This detailed view assists in planning and resource management.

Ocean ETA Changes

Ocean carriers often update the ETA due to rolled cargo, congestion, or inaccurate initial predictions. OpenTrack consistently receives updates multiple times per day and reports ETA changes as they are communicated by the carrier. This widget shows the initial ETA and significant changes reported, helping you stay informed.

Port LFD Coming Soon

The Port LFD Coming Soon widget notifies you when your containers need to be picked up. It shows containers with a Last Free Day (LFD) at the terminal within 48 hours, covering yesterday, today, and tomorrow. This helps you plan timely pickups and avoid additional fees.

.

Active Holds Summary

The Active Holds Summary displays all active ocean holds, including those from the terminal, customs, line, USDA, USCG, and others. This comprehensive view allows you to quickly identify and address any issues that may be delaying your cargo.

Demurrage Report

This shows you the containers that are currently reporting demurrage from the terminal. This report helps you manage and minimize demurrage costs. The widget shows the last free day, the number of days since this time, along with the demurrage incurred on each container.

Street Dwell Time

The Street Dwell Time report is designed to help you avoid detention charges. It lists containers that have outgated but haven't been marked as returned, sorted by the time they have been on the street.

 Rolled or Advanced Cargo

Sometimes your containers may need to change vessels. OpenTrack uses an advanced ETA system to determine if a container has been rolled or advanced and lists it here.

Please note that many of these reports are available in the Daily Digest email that is sent everyday to account users with this feature activated. This email includes many of the above widgets in a daily report for you convenience. You can turn on this email from your notification settings here.

Downloading Reports

You can download many of the dashboard reports by clicking the download icon at the top right.
