The scenario: Your team runs shipments through Revenova TMS, but has always had to check a separate tool to see where an ocean container actually is, or whether it has a hold or demurrage charge building up. That means jumping between systems just to keep a container record current.
With this integration, OpenTrack pushes container tracking updates directly onto the Container record inside Revenova, so your team gets ocean visibility without leaving the TMS.
What This Integration Does
Tracks the full container lifecycle, from origin gate-out, through ocean transit (and rail, on either end, when applicable), discharge, delivery, and empty container return, independent of Load tracking, so ocean tracking can start even before a Load is built.
Pushes milestone events (vessel departed, discharged, available for pickup, delivered, and more) directly onto the Container record as they happen.
Surfaces container holds, including demurrage, detention, and per diem risk, directly on the Container.
Plots container location on the Revenova Load Map as tracking updates come in.
Getting Started
This integration is live now. Contact your Revenova support representative to get it turned on for your account.
Setup happens on the Revenova side, and generally follows these steps:
Create an Experience Cloud Site. This gives OpenTrack a place to send tracking updates into your TMS via webhook.
Enter your OpenTrack credentials. In TMS Admin → Credentials → Global Services, enable OpenTrack and enter your OpenTrack API key.
Register the webhook. From the OpenTrack credentials card, click Register OpenTrack Webhook so tracking updates start flowing in automatically.
Confirm Remote Site Settings. Make sure the OpenTrack integration URL is current.
Turn on container visibility for your Modes. Enable Show Containers on Load Creation so container info appears when building Loads, and assign the Container - Revenova Default page layout.
Once setup is complete, tracking begins automatically as soon as a Container record has a Container Number, Master Bill of Lading Number, and SCAC, with Tracking set to On.
