The upgraded Performance Analytics Dashboard in OpenTrack gives you a bird’s eye view of your supply chain performance.

  • Zoom in, diagnose root causes, and drive improvements with hard data

  • Then easily share your findings with colleagues, partners and customers

Track key metrics like on-time performance, transit times, delays by stage, and market-wide comparisons.

Whether you’re evaluating a carrier, planning a route, diagnosing bottlenecks, or preparing for a business review, the dashboard equips you with the exact KPIs needed to report on and optimize your operations.

What You’ll Find on the Dashboard

See the average end-to-end transit time for your shipments, broken down by segment (origin, ocean, rail). Each view includes a market average comparison across OpenTrack’s network.

What you can do with it:

  • Benchmark your carriers and lanes against the wider market

  • Spot which segment contributes most to long transit times

  • Identify opportunities to shift volume to faster carriers or services

Track the percentage of shipments delivered early, on time, or late, grouped by carrier, lane, or service. Delays are broken into buckets (2–4 days, 5–7 days, 7+ days).

What you can do with it:

  • Quickly see your best and worst performing carriers

  • Understand whether delays tend to be minor or severe

  • Use data in performance reviews and contract negotiations

Pinpoint where delays occur across the shipment lifecycle — origin, on water, at terminal, or on rail — with data aggregated over the last 18 months.

What you can do with it:

  • Identify the biggest bottlenecks in your supply chain

  • Focus improvement projects on the stages that matter most

  • Back up internal discussions with data on where to apply resources

See how often containers are picked up late, by how many days, and how this correlates with overall container volume.

What you can do with it:

  • Track your average late pickup % and days late

  • Identify peak periods with the worst detention exposure

  • Correlate late pickups with high-volume periods to plan resources

These are just some of the analytics available today — and more are being added all the time.

Explore and Customize Your Data

The Performance Analytics Dashboard is designed to help you slice, compare, and share data in ways that massively speed up your workflow.

Filter for Exactly What You Need

Use global filters to narrow the view by time range, customer, origin, destination, steamship line, trade type (import/export), and more.

What you can do with it:

  • Zoom in on a single customer, trade lane, or carrier

  • Compare one period to another to measure improvements

  • Focus analysis on the areas where you need answers fastest

Group and Compare by Dimension

Switch between groupings like lane, steamship line, or mother service name to view the same metric through different lenses.

What you can do with it:

  • Compare carrier performance side by side on the same lane

  • Evaluate services to see which consistently deliver faster

  • Spot underperformers hidden in aggregate data

Many charts include lighter-colored bars representing OpenTrack’s network-wide averages, placed side by side with your results.
