You can now view rail sightings the Rails Sightings tab of the container detail panel, making it easy to track your container's progress along its rail journey.
Just click on any container and navigate to the Rail Sightings tab.
Get sightings via API
You can access rail sightings via OpenTrack's API in two different ways:
Subscribe to
container.location.updatedWebhook events to get real-time updates when OpenTrack gets a new location for the container.
Use the Map Routes API to receive the full historical path of rail sightings, as well as the current location and future predicted route. Click here to learn more about the Map Routes API.
