OpenTrack is excited to announce that we will soon be adding 4 new barge milestones to help you keep track of containers at destination.
Certain cargo lines utilize barges to bring containers from the container ship at destination point to a final inland port. These carriers currently include ONE, Hapag-Lloyd, OOCL, and MSC.
If you track containers from any of the mentioned carriers you may see these new milestones. OpenTrack will soon add the following milestones to the reporting available in the API as well as in the online portal:
LOADED ON BARGE AT DESTINATION PORT
BARGE DEPARTED FROM DESTINATION PORT
BARGE BERTHED AT DESTINATION
DISCHARGED FROM BARGE AT DESTINATION
💡NOTE: These are fully new additions and will not be replacing any previous milestones.
